Mystery Shopping

Okay forgive me, for Mystery Shopping you don't actually have to go out with a bag over your head!
Can't help wondering, how bad was her hairdresser?
For today's subject I admit it's not really a 'at home' position as such, although these days you do need a computer as your reports are sent direct to the company via the Internet.
But for those of you who are working at home life can be a little tough stuck in doors every day, so the chance to escape and get paid to go shopping can be a real bonus to you.
Lets be honest though the job itself isn't easy, first you have to get rid of the guilty feeling every time you make a negative comment about a shop or their staff. One of the most important aspects is that you must be honest in all you report and if the shop is dirty or the staff are rude, then it is your job to note this down.
Usually you are asked to buy a particular item and in most cases they require that you 'pretend' not to find said item so that you can speak to the staff. The first few shopping trips can be quite an ordeal for you but this gets better with practise. There is so much to observe and you must train your memory to hold all information until you can record the details somewhere safely.
I was a mystery shopper for three years and grew to love the work. It doesn't just stop with shops, I used to dine in restaurants , open bank accounts, stay overnight in bed and breakfasts & hotels, take test drives in new cars.
I apologise now because on every posting I have given a link, however I happen to know that the company I worked for is not recruiting at the moment. But if you do a Google search you will find several companies out there. Do not under any circumstances sign up with anyone who is asking for a fee up front, there are plenty of companies who pay you. I have also been told that there are some sites who are giving away the bonus as payment i.e. the meal in a restaurant, do not accept this either. Any work you carry out you must expect to be paid for, plus travelling expenses. Take a look around and discover who is offering what positions.
As a job based from home it is suited to all age groups, although I don't recommended going shopping if you have young children in tow.
But as I say on this site I am going to try and show you all the work out there for people to complete at home. Good luck.
